MANIPULATORS




Welding device (such as, Submerged Welder, CO2 Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, etc.) is mounted on Boom end to bring welding head to work-piece (welding line).
Features:
Boom location: Center-Boom Type
Since the boom is balanced centrally between two columns, 'MATSUMOTO' Manipulators are excellent atdurability, stability, parallelism of Boom, and has less deflection and distortion at boom end.
Boom traversing: Friction Drive Type
The boom is traversed by rotation of rollers which driven by Inverter Motor. The rotational friction transmission mechanism makes boom horizontal traversing smooth and is free from boom knocking at start-up or at stopping or by wear.
Boom elevation: Chain Suspension Type
The Boom is suspended by two sets of roller chain. Features of Chain Suspension Type Boom are
(1) resistance of boom elevation is less than Screw Thread Type, (2) driving power can be lower,
(3) Safety, each chain is strong enough for suspending the boom, one set is spare for safety. On the other hand, Screw Thread Type Boom may possibility be dropped when the screw worn. (4)Angle of boom
against column can be adjusted easily and no need to be perpendicular. On the other hand, the angle of Screw Thread Type must be perpendicular and can not be adjusted.
